This charming nostalgic motel is a must stay if heading to the top of the mitten. The staff is nice and had no problem working around our late check in. The rooms were clean and we were welcomed with sweet chocolate upon arrival. The beds were comfortable and our view from our window was of the beautiful lake. The location is perfect waking distance to downtown, the lake or the bridge. There is a pool that looked well kept and clean as well as a wonderful outdoor garden space. Certainly will be on our list of places to stay when heading North!

I cannot say enough good things about this motel! The pictures don’t do it justice. The rooms are quite spacious, clean, and quiet. There is a lovely garden/sitting area, and the pool was probably one of the warmest I’ve ever been in! This will definitely be our go to every time we are in Mackinaw City! Much better than the larger chain hotels.

We were there on a Thursday night in late August. The king-sized bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet. The lid on the Keurig-type coffee maker was warped, and we had to hold the lid closed to get it to operate, but no big deal. Water pressure was quite low, but we got clean. Beautiful, well-maintained grounds, pool appeared clean and well kept, bridge view right across the street. We would stay here again. Office closed from 10p-7a, so try not to need anything during those hours.
